These are all things that clients have come to us seeking guidance and information about. An "Evening w/ the Architect" is our answer to all of these questions and many, many more.
During a typical "Evening" you will meet with an architect (sometimes two) for four to six hours to go over your project and your needs. There is a flat fee for the evening and at the end you may keep any sketches that the architects produce for you. Sometimes these sketches or other hand-drawn illustrations are enough for you to get pricing from a contractor. Other times we'll need to schedule more time with you or proceed with hourly or contract work.
This is one of our most popular consultation methods but there are some important things to keep in mind. Unfortunately you won't get an entire house or building designed in one night for this one flat fee. There is simply too much that goes in to designing something from "scratch" for this to be possible, however this is a great way to begin the process. If an "Evening" is the start to your design project a proposal for work will follow. Sometimes that proposal is for full survices and other times it is for limited services -- it's your choice how much you want us to manage your project but we make every effort to keep our estimates and fees fair and honest.
